What is the Auto-charge feature?

When your GOLD Wallet balance is insufficient, this feature allows you to automatically purchase GOLD in units of 500 GOLD and pay for GOLD materials.

  • Eliminate the hassle of purchasing GOLD every time
  • Helps GOLD Members to avoid missing regular payments

Using Auto-charge

  • You will need to register your credit card to use this service.

    VISA, Mastercard, and AMEX cards are accepted.

  • Setting up auto-charge is free. There are no additional fees to use the service.
  • There are occasions where purchase amounts may be greater than 500 GOLD.
    For example, if your balance is 0 GOLD and you are 1 GOLD short, you will be charge the amount for 500 GOLD. However if you are 501 GOLD short, you will be charged for 1,000 GOLD.
  • Your credit card will be charged every time you purchase GOLD via the Auto-charge feature. Please check your email, as you will receive a notification when a purchase has been made.

Points to be aware of with Auto-charge

  • If auto-charge is enabled, you will not be asked to confirm whether you would like to use auto-charge via notification (messages, confirmation screen, etc.) when purchasing products such as GOLD Materials. The same applies when billing for GOLD members.
  • Please see below for how purchasing/billing works when you have auto-charge enabled.

When purchasing products, GOLD Materials

  1. Let’s say you try to purchase a material (or product) worth 500 GOLD. Your balance is 200 GOLD.
  2. The system will automatically purchase GOLD in a single unit of 500 GOLD to buy the material (or product).
    Because you were 300 GOLD short, the purchase of 500 GOLD is made with your pre-registered credit card. At this point, your balance is 700 GOLD.
  3. The purchase complete screen and message will appear, completing the purchase.
    At this point, your displayed balance will be 200 GOLD - your auto-charged balance 700 GOLD - 500 GOLD product/material cost.
  4. You will receive an email confirming your purchase of 500 GOLD by auto-charge.

As GOLD is automatically purchased via auto-charge, no confirmation message, confirmation screen, etc. will be displayed at any point during the process.

GOLD Member Subscription Charges

  1. Let’s say you are a GOLD member and subscribe for 200 GOLD every month.
    Your balance is 100 GOLD.
  2. The system will automatically purchase a single unit of 500 GOLD.
    Because you were 100 GOLD short, the purchase of 500 GOLD is made with your pre-registered credit card. At this point, your balance is 600 GOLD.
  3. Now, the subscription charge will be paid.
    At this point, your displayed balance will be 400 GOLD: your auto-charged balance of 600 GOLD - 200 GOLD for the GOLD Membership charge.
  4. You will receive an email confirming your purchase of 500 GOLD by auto-charge.

As GOLD is automatically purchased via auto-charge, no confirmation message, confirmation screen, etc. will be displayed at any point during the process.

When payment cannot be processed

  • If your registered credit card has expired or exceeded its limit, you will not be able to make payments (or purchase GOLD).
  • If you are attempting to purchase a product or material, you will receive an error message, and if payment cannot be taken for your regular GOLD Membership dues, you will receive an email.
