    If you have a 30-digit serial number, launch Clip Studio Paint and click the "I already have a license" button.

  4. 4. Using Clip Studio Paint Activation Codes

    Clip Studio Paint activation codes are associated with the Clip Studio Account they are originally registered to, so when using the app, please make sure you are logged into the correct account.

    There are two types of Clip Studio Paint licenses - activation codes and serial numbers.
    The activation codes described here are 12- or 13-character alphanumeric codes.

    Activation codes are available through a number of different means:

    • Bundled with graphics tablets
    • Bundled with computers
    • Sold online
    • Handed out at events
    • Distributed as shareholder benefits

    All activation codes are used in the same way.
    All you need to do is log into your Clip Studio Account, enter the activation code, and log into that same Clip Studio Account on your device of choice.

    Depending on your activation code, you may be able to apply it to an active plan you already have.
